A FEATURE OF INSTORYVIEW

Instagram Follower Analyzer

The Instagram Follower Analyzer shows who follows back, who doesn’t, and which people your tracked accounts have in common. An AI summary puts each period’s detected changes into a few plain sentences.

The lookup previews the account. Mutual follows, the network and AI summaries come with tracking on Lite, Starter and Pro.

FOLLOWER ANALYZER EXPLAINED

What you can do with the Instagram Follower Analyzer

The Instagram Follower Analyzer works on the follower and following lists Instoryview has already scanned for an account you track. It sorts them into people who follow each other, people who don’t follow back, and people the account doesn’t follow back.

Track more than one account and the Instagram Follower Analyzer also shows who they have in common. It builds on Instagram follower tracking: the lists come from completed scans, so opening an analysis asks Instagram for nothing new.

  • See who follows back and who doesn’t
  • Find the people your tracked accounts share
  • Read each period’s changes in plain sentences

THREE ANALYSES

Inside the Instagram Follower Analyzer

One set of scans, three ways to read it.

  • Mutual follows

Three groups from the latest scans of both lists: mutuals, people who don’t follow back, and people the account doesn’t follow back. Open any group to see the names.

Needs both lists of the account tracked

  • Network map

Who appears on the lists of two or more of your tracked accounts, as a list or a map. Select a person to see which accounts they follow or are followed by.

Needs two or more tracked accounts

  • AI summary

A few sentences on what changed in the period you’re looking at. The numbers come from the overview itself; the AI only words them and never sees anyone’s username.

EXAMPLE
  1. Your tracked accounts sit on the ring; the people they share sit between them.
  2. Select a dot to keep only that person’s lines and read them in words below the map.
  3. In your Track list the same map uses your own scans, with a list view beside it.

Fictional accounts and people. Select a dot or an account to highlight its lines.

Sample AI summary

EXAMPLE

@maya.studio started following 6 accounts and stopped following 2 in the last 30 days. Its following list grew from 384 to 388 across 9 completed scan comparisons. One change is waiting for the next scan to confirm.

How to use the Instagram Follower Analyzer

The Instagram Follower Analyzer reads the scans you already have, and opening it doesn’t use credits.

  1. Look up the account

Enter a public username above. The preview shows the profile and the start of its lists, so you can confirm it’s the right account before tracking anything.

Your starting point: the right account

  2. Track both lists

Sign in, choose Followers and Following, and confirm the quoted scan cost. Mutual follows need both lists, and the network needs at least two tracked accounts. The Instagram Follower Analyzer is part of Lite, Starter and Pro.

    Your setup: both lists scanned

  3. Open the analysis

After the first complete scans, open the account from your Track list. Mutual follows sit below the change overview, the AI summary inside it, and the Network view beside your accounts.

Your result: who follows back, who you share, what changed

PUT IT TO WORK

Instagram Follower Analyzer use cases

Answer the follower questions a total count can’t.

Creators & small brands

See who doesn’t follow your account back

You follow many creators, studios and suppliers from your public account and want to know which of them follow you back, without opening profiles one by one.

How to use it

Track both lists of your public account. Open Mutual follows and review the group that doesn’t follow back, then decide for yourself who to keep following.

What you gain

A named list from your own scans. The Instagram Follower Analyzer never unfollows anyone for you, and the people on the list aren’t notified.

Analyze your account

Agencies & teams

Find the audience your accounts share

You manage several public brand accounts and want to know which creators or customers appear around more than one of them.

How to use it

Track the accounts, then open the Network view in your Track list. Filter by one account to see who it shares with the others, as a list or a map.

What you gain

Spot overlaps worth a closer look, from scans you already run. The map shows list membership, not how well people know each other.

UNDERSTAND THE ANALYSIS

Read your Instagram Follower Analyzer results

Mutual follows come from your latest scans

Each group is worked out from the newest complete scans of both lists. People the timeline already shows as having left aren’t counted, and accounts removed from Instoryview never appear.

Instagram doesn’t always return every name, so each number is at least. When a scan listed fewer people than the profile shows, the Instagram Follower Analyzer says so beside the numbers.

The network shows list membership

A line means someone is on a tracked account’s list: thick when they follow each other, thin when it goes one way. It shows who is listed where, not what a connection means.

Only the lists you track are used, and an account joins the map after its first complete scan. The activity timeline shows how each list changed over time.

The AI summary words the overview

The summary is written from the same figures as the overview: counts, detected changes and changes still waiting for a scan. Every number is checked against them before you see it.

It never guesses why something happened or what a follow means. If a summary can’t pass those checks, none is shown, and the overview stays exactly as it is.

BEFORE YOU START

What to expect from the Instagram Follower Analyzer

Some lists can’t be analyzed

Verified accounts show only part of their followers, and some owners hide the list. Mutual follows can’t be worked out there, and the Instagram Follower Analyzer says which case applies.

Analysis starts with tracking

A first lookup doesn’t analyze anything. Mutual follows appear once both lists have a complete scan, and the network once two or more of your accounts do.

It reads lists, not engagement

The Instagram Follower Analyzer doesn’t judge whether followers are fake or inactive, measure likes or comments, or read private accounts. It works only with public follower and following lists.

No. Instoryview reads supported public lists and never asks for your Instagram login. You need an Instoryview account to track, and completed scans use credits at the quoted cost. See scan costs before you start.

No. They’re included with Lite, Starter and Pro and don’t use credits; only the scans that collect the lists do. AI summaries have a daily and monthly allowance, and a summary someone already generated for the same overview doesn’t count against it.

No. It only shows lists, a map and summaries. It never follows, unfollows or messages anyone, and the accounts you analyze aren’t told.
