Export Instagram followers to CSV from your browser. Enter a public username, choose the list you need, and confirm the quote. A one-time export does not require adding the account to your tracking list or setting up recurring scans.
Sign in to Instoryview and enter an Instagram username. Choose Followers for the people following that account, or Following for the accounts it follows. You do not need an Instagram password or a browser extension. Private source accounts cannot be exported.
Select up to 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 rows. Check the account, list direction, known restrictions, and maximum credit cost before you start. Your selected limit is a collection cap; a smaller or restricted list can return fewer rows.
Your Instagram follower export keeps running when you leave the page. Return to export history to check progress, cancel, or download your CSV. Each result shows the actual row count and why collection stopped if it ended before your limit.
THE FILE
Every Instagram follower export includes one row per collected account, with nine columns for review and analysis. Use the Instagram ID to recognize an account after a username change. Follow the profile URL to check an account, then sort or annotate your list in a spreadsheet.
The CSV uses the fields returned with the list. It does not include email addresses, phone numbers, bios, or each listed account’s follower count. Names can be empty when the source does not supply them. Profile flags use list data without a separate profile check.

MAKE THE FILE YOUR OWN
Download your Instagram follower export as CSV, then work in the spreadsheet app you already use. The file uses UTF-8 text and includes column headers. CSV is the download format; the tool does not generate a native .xlsx workbook.
Open the downloaded .csv file to view your follower list. If you import it through Data → From Text/CSV, choose UTF-8 and a comma delimiter. Instagram IDs are protected as text so long numbers are not rounded.
In a spreadsheet, choose File → Import → Upload and select your CSV. Pick where to place the data and use a comma separator. You can then sort accounts, filter rows, and add your own research notes.
KNOW THE COST BEFORE COLLECTION
Pay with Instoryview credits: one credit per 25 valid rows, rounded up, with a minimum of 10 credits for a usable file. Sign in and review the maximum quote before collection. That amount is reserved when you start; the final export cost uses the actual valid rows and never exceeds the quote.

Checking an uncached account also uses credits for a profile request. This charge is separate from the export quote. If no usable file is produced, no export credits are charged; a profile request may already have used credits.
A 1,000-row limit has a maximum export quote of 40 credits. If you receive 300 valid rows, the file costs 12 credits and the remaining reservation is released. A partial file, including one prepared after you cancel, is charged by its valid row count with the same 10-credit minimum. No usable file means the export reservation is released. Downloading the same file again is free.

READ THE RESULT WITH CONTEXT
An Instagram follower export records the rows available during collection. A profile’s displayed follower count does not guarantee that many rows in your CSV. Instagram and the data source can restrict access or end pagination early. Review the actual count and collection outcome alongside your list.
The data source may return only about 50 followers for a verified account, even when the profile has a much larger audience. Known restrictions appear before collection and require your confirmation. Following lists may have different coverage.
The collected_at column records when a row was gathered. It does not tell you when one account followed another. List position is not an exact follow order, and a single CSV cannot prove who recently followed or unfollowed.
Accounts can follow, unfollow, rename, or become private while pages are being collected. Your CSV records the rows returned during the run. It is not a guaranteed complete snapshot of the account at one exact moment.

No. Use the web tool with a public username. You sign in to Instoryview to use credits and manage export history, but you do not connect your Instagram account or install an extension. Signing in does not unlock private profiles or hidden lists.
The download is CSV, which you can open in Excel or import into Google Sheets. It is not a native .xlsx workbook. Download the sample file above to preview the nine columns before you create a paid export.
Closing the page does not stop collection. Return to export history to check progress or download the file. If you cancel after valid rows were collected, a partial file can still be prepared and charged by row count. No usable file means the export reservation is released.
Completed files stay in your signed-in export history for 7 days. Repeated downloads of the same file do not use more credits. Save a local copy for longer storage. After expiry, collecting another list requires a new export and quote.
A single file does not reveal follow times. You can compare your own exports, but partial coverage and changing lists affect the comparison. For detected changes over time, use ongoing tracking and review its coverage and baseline requirements.
